Section Information for Fall 2017
This is a RESEARCH SEMINAR focusing on the Cuban Missile Crisis and its origins. “Long” refers to the nuclear weapons policies of Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy and Khrushchev that resulted in the most dangerous episode during the Cold War. The seminar’s goal is for each student to produce a near publishable research paper based on primary sources.

Required Prerequisites: (HIST 300C or 300XS) and (ENGH 302C, ENGL 302C, ENGH 302XS, HNRS 110C, 110XS, 210C, 302C or 302XS).
