Riley Hester

Riley Hester

Building on skills learned at Mason to work in international legal diplomacy.

Riley is a senior double majoring in Global Affairs (with a concentration in international development) and Russian and Eurasian Studies (with a concentration in language and culture). She has been president of the Russian Club, worked in the Department of Justice, studied abroad in Russia, and is working to build a career in international legal diplomacy.

Alex Naumov

Publishing and taking advantage of opportunities on campus to further his expertise.

Alex is a B.A. student double majoring in Russian and Eurasian Studies and International Politics. His research interests include NATO and Russian security, the Russian diaspora, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the politics of historical memory. As an undergraduate, Alex has been fortunate to write articles on some of these issues for PONARS Eurasia and The Cipher Brief.
